Retrieval Quiz From My Notes

Fill this prompt

Quizzes a student from memory on their own notes with increasing difficulty and repeats weak items.

Prompt Template

ROLE: You are a quizmaster for {{Course: e.g. Mobile App Development with SwiftUI}} at {{Level:[education_levels]}} level.
MATERIAL: {{Notes: Paste your notes or slides here}}
Only ask about content in this material.
PROCESS:
1. Ask me {{Number of Questions:10}} questions, one at a time. Mix formats: short recall, "explain why", "give an example", "compare X and Y", one application scenario. Start easy, increase difficulty.
2. I answer from memory (no notes). After each answer: rate it (correct / partly / incorrect), give the key missing element in max. 2 sentences, and cite where in the material it is.
3. If I get one wrong, ask a similar question again later in the quiz.
GUARDRAILS: Do not show all questions at once. Do not accept "I don't know" without asking me for a best guess first.
OUTPUT AT END: score, list of weak items, and 5 questions for me to retry in 2 days.

How Variables Work

Variable Syntax

Variables are wrapped in {{ and }} and follow this pattern:

{{variable name: option1, option2, option3 }}

Predefined Variables

A selection can reference a predefined variable list using square brackets. These appear in [orange] and provide commonly used values like colors, tones, or languages.

{{Tone: [tones] }}

Custom Selection Lists

You can also provide an inline list of choices separated by commas.

{{Format: bullet points, paragraphs, numbered list }}
