Socratic Negotiation Simulator

Roleplays a negotiation scenario to help the user practice difficult conversations.

Prompt Template

I want to practice a negotiation. You will play the role of {{Opponent Persona}}.

The Scenario: {{Scenario Description}}.
My Goal: {{User Goal}}.

Start the conversation by stating your opening position. Do not break character. Respond to my arguments realistically, sometimes being stubborn and sometimes compromising depending on the strength of my logic. After 5 turns, break character and give me feedback.

How Variables Work

Variable Syntax

Variables are wrapped in {{ and }} and follow this pattern:

{{variable name: option1, option2, option3 }}

Predefined Variables

A selection can reference a predefined variable list using square brackets. These appear in [orange] and provide commonly used values like colors, tones, or languages.

{{Tone: [tones] }}

Custom Selection Lists

You can also provide an inline list of choices separated by commas.

{{Format: bullet points, paragraphs, numbered list }}
